Training & Conference:

Using iPads to foster independence for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Using iPads with Individuals with Special Needs brings the national expertise of iTaalk to Rossford, OH to better help teachers, professionals, and parents utilize the applications and programs of iOS devices for the benefit of those on the Autism Spectrum Disorder and many other disabilities.

This conference is designed to provide the tools necessary to introduce an iPad to an individual with special needs. We  have found that providing app selection expertise has enabled families and teams to support an individual’s progress towards reaching their goals. Whether they have a school-aged child with an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or an adult needing help learning to improve specific skills, there are breakouts sessions for everyone.

These expert-led presentations will include hands-on labs that describe and/or demonstrate successful applications of assistive technology for individuals with special needs. Our hope is for attendees to learn how to use mobile devices to effectively target skill development.

General CEUs are available for continuing education or professional training hours.
Registration is required to receive CEUs, free app codes and any giveaways. Topics are subject to change.
