Anchor of Hope offers grants to special needs children to help cover the costs of therapy, education, equipment, and other needs not covered by insurance or Medicaid. The maximum grant amount is $250.00 per child per financial year.

Angel Flight

Angel Flight Soars arranges free air transportation for people who need to travel to receive life saving medical treatment, but lack the means.

Bert's Big Adventure www.bertsbigadventure.org

Provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. To qualify for Bert’s Big Adventure, children must be between the ages of 5 and 12, live in “The Bert Show” radio listening area, prove financial need and have never been to Walt Disney World®. Facilitated by the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children to provide direct financial assistance to needy families of children and young adults with brain and spinal cord tumors for items not covered by other means. Provides direct financial assistance and support services to Georgia's medically fragile and special needs children and their families. Must have applied for Katie Beckett and received a level of care denial.

All children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and either live or are treated in Northeast Florida or Southeast Georgia are eligible for a dream. FOCUS+ Fagile Kids www.focus-ga.org

FOCUS offers parents support – a shoulder to cry on, an ear that understands the acronyms, a visit when a child is hospitalized; FOCUS offers information and resources in the community; we even offer specialized childcare so parents can take a break! Medically fragile child, age 21 or younger, who is a legal U.S. citizen with a primary residence in Georgia may apply for Equipment.

Friends of Disabled Adults and Children www.fodac.org

FODAC provides refurbished durable medical equipment for adults and children in need. Programs have evolved to include free or low-cost wheelchairs and other durable medical equipment, vehicle and home adaptations and more.

Innovative Health Foundation

The Innovative Health Foundation provides assistance-funding for families with children in need of special services due to Down syndrome, autism, ADHD, and sensory/motor disorders that challenge their ability to perform life's most basic activities: language, mobility, learning, self-help, and independent living.

Kiddos Club Foundation

Awards scholarships up to $2500 for payment of therapeutic services or equipment.
