Missouri Families For Effective Autism Treatment
Eitas
Eitas is the “funder of last resort,” covering the costs of services, facilities and equipment that are not paid by other sources such as Medicaid, the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Health and Senior Services or the First Steps program.
FOX4 Love Fund for Children
Established to improve the quality of life for children ages newborn to 18 in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area when funding from other sources is not available. Examples of goods and services funded are, therapeutic tools, medical equipment, eye exams and glasses, clothing, shoes, beds and bedding, baby items, personal hygiene items and so much more.
HopeKids
The most predominant conditions that qualify for HopeKids include, but are not limited to, cancer, heart defects, Cystic Fibrosis, organ transplants, Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy and Sickle Cell Anemia. Children with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy and Spina Bifida may qualify if their treating physician deems that their specific medical situation (i.e. coupled with other complications) is considered life-threatening.

Program for individuals with both hearing and vision loss. The program covers a variety of equipment based on the individual participant’s distance communication needs. Individuals apply for technology such as an iPhone or iPad or computer with magnification software or a screen-reader. Other equipment may include a neckloop, Braille display, or large-print keyboard.
Kids Assistive Technology (KAT)

Provide limited funding for assistive technology, vehicle access modifications and some home access modifications for children under age 21.Must have an eligible special health care need (conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Cystic Fibrosis, Cleft Lip and Palate, Hearing disorders, Hemophilia, paraplegia, Quadriplegia, Seizures, Spina Bifida, and Traumatic Brain Injury)
Kids on the Go Mobility Program
Variety St. Louis assists more than 1,450 St. Louis-area children covering 547 zip code in Missouri and Illinois by providing them with durable medical equipment – including wheelchairs, augmentative speech devices, leg braces, hearing aids, prostheses, and van lifts – that empowers them to be physically independent.
Midwest Special Needs Trust General Charitable Grants

Grants up to $1,500 can be provided for durable medical equipment and other purposes and must meet the Trust’s low-income guidelines.
Missouri Council of the Blind
Provides a youth services grant, which if approved, gives blind children under 18 up to $200 for new, educational products. There is also an adaptive technology matching grant.
Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council

The Council releases grants or "Notice of Funding Available (NoFAs)" several times each year to assist individuals, families,and the community to include all people with developmental disabilities in every aspect of life.
Operation Liftoff
Provides air transportation for children with a life threatening illness for a treatment trip from or to St Louis.
P.H.A.R.M. Dog
Pets Helping Agriculture in Rural Missouri- We place dogs with farmers that may have a disability or illness.
SLICE Inc.
A regional organization for the Springfield area. If you have a spinal cord injury and live near Springfield Missouri, contact them about their services. They offer peer to per support as well as a home modification program such as building ramps. Their priorities are to educate the general public about issues related to spinal cord injuries, and to provide funds and other resources to assist individuals covering the needs and expenses not covered by available resources.

Provides need-based adaptive equipment to children with special needs in St. Louis.The request must qualify as a valid health care need and be referred by a social worker or case manager. Most awards are for up to $1,000. Here are some examples of what might be covered for the direct use of the child with special needs: Stander, specialized walking aids, portable ramps, specialized seating, electronic communication aids, adaptive toilet seats, specialized beds or mattresses and more.
