Access Alaska
Our loan closet provides assistive technology and adaptive equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, transfer benches, magnifiers, hospital beds, commodes, walkers, grab bars) to individuals with disabilities to increase their safety and independence in their homes and the community.
Alaska - General Relief Assistance (GRA)
GRA will provide for many of the basic needs of Alaskans who are not eligible for other state assistance programs. Some of the help offered includes help with utility bills, shelter, limited assistance for clothing, food, transportation, medical expenses and burial.
Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority DD Mini Grant
The Trust mini grant program provides individuals within all Trust beneficiary groups up to $2,500 for a broad range of equipment, supplies and services to improve their quality of life, increase independent functioning, and help them attain and maintain healthy and productive lifestyles.
Angel Flight West
Arranges free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs.
Stone Soup Group
A non-profit organization dedicated to serving families raising children who experience developmental disabilities or complex medical conditions. Provide Parent Navigation, School Support, Parent Training, Behavioral Support, and Activities for Youth.
Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injury Program
Grants available on a statewide basis to Alaskans diagnosed with traumatic or acquired brain injuries. The maximum benefit per individual is $2,500 and pays for supplies or services that are not covered by other sources. Wish Upon the North Star
WUNS grants wishes to children with life-threatening illness. Their profound desire is to provide as much happiness and comfort as possible to these very special children and their families.
